Spice Acres

Spice Acres is managed by Ben Bebenroth, chef/farmer/founder of Cleveland's Spice Kitchen + Bar, Spice Catering Co., and Spice Field Kitchen, and farm manager Andrea Heim.

The farm’s picturesque acreage is located within the northern crest of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park bordering the Cleveland Metroparks Brecksville Reservation. Forging a deeper bond between chefs and seasons, Spice Acres creates a direct link between the culinary teams at Spice Kitchen + Bar and Spice Catering Co., and the farm’s evolving harvest. Sustainable growing practices are prioritized to protect the surrounding ecosystem and build soil health, and events and programs connect the community to the source of its food through meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.


Spice Acres has become an experience-based entity, affording guests the opportunity to get their hands dirty and learn the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of sustainable agriculture – or simply to celebrate nature's beauty and bounty.
